Hi Anton! Nice looking Luftwaffe GAB, i like it!!
Seems to be a fairly early piece, from the looks of the hardware, and the overall quality of the badge and finish!! Nice condition too!!
Looks like a good one to me,but i'm no Luftwaffe expert, wait and see what the other guys say!! -Nigel

I agree with Nigel on this one. Seems to be an early piece. However looks like the catch has been re-soldered at some stage.

I am wondering what the black material above the eagles wings might be.

I agree with you Mathijs that the catch may have been resoldered, but early on as the patina is even. Maybe it's Monday morning after Oktoberfest workmanship?
